How Erectile Dysfunction Can Damage Your Self Worth

By Christian Goodman

People have many definition and criteria for declaring themselves as a success. For me, it comes when a former client or patient writes or calls me to say how their life had improves thanks to my programs. There is no greater feeling than this feeling! So here I am sharing a story of such a client, who like many other, was cured by my program.

The man, who was almost fifty years old, always had a sound health and active sex life. He never struggled to attain and maintain an erection. But the recession had its curse and he lost his long running job like many others in this country. The psychological trauma of suddenly being jobless was huge.

Getting a job at his age and during recession time was hard. To his dismay, he was now on unemployment fund. That was point when symptoms of erectile dysfunction entered his life. He was sure that it was something that will go away and so did not pay any heed to it. But that proved to be a mistake since it soon became a chronic problem that was soon casting shadow on his personal life.

It was the worst phase of his life. He had to struggle to get an erection and when it had one, it was not for a satisfactory time. But he was unwilling to talk about it either to his wife or to his doctor. Sex life for him became meaningless.

It is my belief that if you have any sudden change in your normal sex life, then you should immediately see your doctor. It does not matter whether you think, for sure, that it is a temporary problem due to your stressful life, but medical check up is a must. There are other serious problems than anxiety and stress that can lead to Erectile Dysfunction and the physical examination will help you in diagnosis it.

Going back to my story of my client, his problems in sex life spilled over to other problems. His marriage was on the dock as he was too embarrassed to talk about his erectile problems with his wife. As a result, his wife started having her own emotional problems as she could not take his rejections well and that meant more trouble for the couple.

He went deeper into depression. He started to destroy what was left of his healthy life. He was drinking heavily, and when he wasn't, he was in front of the TV with all kinds of junk food. Communication virtually stopped from his end; he was not even talking to his kids and wife. In short, he was in deep depression.

He failed to see how his problem was affecting everyone. Instead of seeing that his Erectile Dysfunction as a symptom he saw it as a problem and blamed anyone he could for it. That is when his wife gave him an ultimatum, he was to see doctor for his problems or she was going out. He loved his wife and family enough to start looking for answers to his problem.

The problem was that he was not comfortable in going to doctors. Hence the internet became the searching ground for his answers. But that is not a good way to start; as I said before, there are many serious reasons for having these symptoms and it is better to strike them out before going for alternative therapies.

It was his good luck that he came to my site and was impressed by the success stories. He instantly felt a connection because most of the success stories where of men like him who had got back to their regular sex life after completing my Erection Master program. As he was still hesitant to talk about it with his wife, he created a separate account and became my patient.

As he started following the program, his problems in bedroom started to disappear. Now he could pay attention to other marital problems he was facing and for which I had no answer. But my biggest surprise and satisfaction came when he wrote to say thank you (considering that he was a very shy person).

I was happy that everything ended well with him. He religiously followed my program till all symptoms of ED disappeared. He then took up my advice of enrolling in the Weight Loss Bridge program to gain back his once healthy lifestyle.

I like to end this by saying that when there is a problem with your partner, never clam up. Always discuss it with her. Communication keeps any relationship stable be it between spouses or parents. So don't push away your loved ones when you feel that there is something wrong with you. It is for nothing that the word "In sickness and in health" has been added to our marriage vows.
